Why 36% of Americans believe the government was behind 9/11

I think I now know why more than one-third of Americans have gone a little crack pot on us and believe that the U.S. government was involved in 9/11.

After repeatedly hearing about how good the show "24" is (even our pastor referenced it in a sermon), I finally caved and decided to give it a try. I started with season two; the plotline includes a whacked faction of inteligence within the government that permits a nuclear bomb to enter into the U.S. Take that plotline, and mix in the whacky websites touting U.S. government involvment, and you have a recipe for ... conspiracy theory.
